Program Description

RunnersHi uses SMS text messages exclusively to send one-time verification codes (OTP) when you sign up for or log into the RunnersHi mobile app. These codes verify ownership of your phone number. RunnersHi does not send marketing, promotional, or recurring SMS messages.

How You Opt In (Call to Action)

You consent to receive an SMS verification code by providing your phone number directly in the RunnersHi iOS app and tapping the "Send Verification Code" button. A disclosure is displayed on the screen before you submit your phone number.

In-App Opt-In Flow

  1. Open the RunnersHi app and navigate to the sign-up or login screen.
  2. Enter your US phone number in the phone number field.
  3. Review the disclosure text displayed below the input field (shown below).
  4. Tap "Send Verification Code" to receive a one-time SMS code.
  5. Enter the 6-digit code you receive to complete verification.
"By tapping Send Verification Code, you consent to receive a one-time SMS verification code. Msg & Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy."

Message Frequency

One (1) SMS message per verification request. Messages are sent only when you explicitly initiate a request by tapping the "Send Verification Code" button. No automated, recurring, or marketing messages are sent.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan. RunnersHi does not charge for SMS verification messages, but standard carrier fees may apply.

Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages from RunnersHi at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also text CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or STOPALL to opt out.

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message: "You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."

If you opt out, you may not be able to verify your phone number for sign-up or login purposes.

Opt-In Instructions

To re-subscribe after opting out, reply START or YES to a previous message from RunnersHi. You will receive a confirmation: "You are now opted in to receive RunnersHi verification codes. Msg & Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

Help

For assistance, reply HELP or INFO to any message from RunnersHi. You will receive: "Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & Data Rates May Apply."

Supported Carriers

SMS verification is available on all major US wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy
